and to think it was a last minute costume...

From the Sunset View Elementary Halloween parade, working at the public library, and living too close to BYU campus, I saw a lot of pretty great costumes this year.

But nothing really competes with Old Man Autumn.

Good work, Matt.

I find it very fitting,
that the old man autumn's sitting,
just like an old man would,
watching his house, his hood.
Is old woman autumn knitting?

Cate, yesterday when we were leaving Provo we saw you running and everyone in the car was like "THERE'S CATE!" It was funny. Like finding Waldo or something. Matt, I miss you! It was good to talk to you yesterday. My hand still hurts. :)

that Old Man Autumn can be so pleasant sometimes, but then he suddenly turns all cold and grumpy. What's the deal?

Brilliant costume, what a night!! I don't know what I liked better you trying to figure out a scary politician or Matt guessing Quentin Tarantino.

It appears that Old Man Winter is holding his child pumpkin on his knee.

This was indeed one of my favorite costumes of the year. And it was presented so well. I think next year I'm going to be Tales From The Crypt... no not the crypt keeper... but Tales From The Crypt.

Yeah Jo. But how the heck are you going to channel yourself into an inanimate object?
